Looking for the perfect cultural getaway this summer? A grand Chinese cultural event combining spectacular performances and hands-on experiences is set to land at Tai Kwun! The grand finale of the Jockey Club Exploring Chinese Culture Ambassador Programme (Programme) — Chinese Culture Funfair — will take place between 14 and 17 August 2026 at the Tai Kwun Parade Ground.

The Programme is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, organised by Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), and implemented by the Academy of Chinese Studies under OHKF.

The Funfair will showcase the fruitful outcomes and outstanding works of over 240 ambassadors from the Programme. It also features a wide array of engaging hands-on workshops and a handicraft cultural experience zone, including Hanfu experience, fan-making, Lu Ban Lock challenges, and more. These activities oYer the public an opportunity to experience the joys of traditional Chinese culture first-hand, and are perfect for families and parent-child bonding.

In addition, a series of dazzling cultural and artistic performances will be held at scheduled times each day, including puppet shows, juggling, Chinese dance, and more. Audiences will even have the chance to interact with the performers.

Admission is free. A stamp-collecting activity will also be held on-site, with a variety of exquisite prizes available for redemption. You are cordially invited to join us and immerse yourselves in the vibrant and joyful atmosphere of Chinese culture!
